Automated Container Corporation

Service To Meet Customer Needs

Since our beginnings Automated Container has specialized in making easy-open ends for other can makers, with minimum production for our own canmaking operations.

We know we must meet every customer’s end requirements on time. We know that the required ends must be on hand when a canning or canmaking operation is running. We know how devastating the consequences can be if you don’t have the ends you need when you need them.

That’s why we’ve geared our entire operation to on-time delivery all the time. Delivery promises govern the entire operation. We ship to those promises.

autobox.jpgInventories to Meet Any Order - Constant availability of the right metal to produce every end is vital to customer service. Every month we do a computer-aided forecast of metal needs for five months ahead. The lead times of metal producers is also considered. Then metal is purchased to meet this forecast. We have the metal we need even with long lead times on aluminum orders.

For finished ends, too, we maintain inventories that other makers of ends would consider abnormally high. Particularly on popular sizes and specifications, we can often meet your requirement out of floor stocks.

Five High Speed Lines to Fill Orders Fast - Each of our five integrated production lines convert raw material into finished ends at the rate of 500 ends per minute. We have the capacity to meet your every need for any end in our broad line.

Weekend Runs to Meet Special Needs - As required, weekend production is scheduled to insure adherence to promised delivery dates or to meet special requirements.

These weekend runs are reserved for this purpose. On a weekly basis, we can exert special effort to be sure you get the ends you want when you want them.

Fast Turnaround on New Orders - Production of new orders, even with a new metal specification, can be achieved in sixteen weeks including fourteen weeks for metal. Orders for existing specifications can generally be shipped in a day for small quantities, or in four weeks maximum for larger quantities.

So, when you order a new end with sufficient lead times, you can be sure the ends will be there when you begin canning or canmaking operations.
